JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - "Alewife" ditulis dan dilantunkan oleh Clairo, penyanyi yang telah aktif meng-cover lagu sejak tahun 2012 saat ia berusia 13 tahun.
Melalui lagu hitnya, "Pretty Girl" dan "Sofia", ia berhasil dikenal dan akhirnya merilis album studio debutnya pada 2019.
Album tersebut diberi nama Immunity dengan memuat sebelas lagu, termasuk lagu "Alewife".
