Lagu ini disebut-sebut diadaptasi dari salah satu lagu berbahasa Turki, "Kâtibim".
"Rasputin" merupakan lagu semi-biografi tentang Grigori Rasputin, teman sekaligus penasihat Tsar Nicholas II dari Rusia dan keluarganya pada awal abad ke-20 Masehi.
