Lagu ini menjadi satu-satunya singel yang dirilis pada tahun tersebut setelah ia tidak pernah merilis karyanya sejak 2014.
Versi akustik dari lagu "Lost" kemudian dimuat dalam album Awake: Remixed & Remastered, 10 Years & 10,000 Years Later (2017).
Album itu merupakan rekaman ulang perayaan 10 tahun dari album Awake (2007) dan "Lost" menjadi lagu bonusnya.
