JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Sonic Youth adalah band rock lawas asal Kota New York, Amerika Serikat yang melantunkan lagu bertajuk "Teen Age Riot".
Rilis pada 1988, lagu ini menjadi trek pembuka sekaligus singel pertama dari album yang mereka beri nama Daydream Nation.
Lagu ini masuk daftar 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll oleh Museum Rock and Roll Hall of Fame atau RRHOF.
Pada 2012, lagu ini digunakan dalam sebuah film remaja berjudul The Perks of Being Wallflower.
