JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Metro Station merilis lagu "Kelsey" dalam album perdananya, Metro Station, pada tahun 2007.
Lagu tersebut kemudian dirilis ulang pada 2009 setelah dua lagu Metro Station lainnya, "Shake It" dan "Seventeen Forever", laris di pasaran.
Justin Pierre, sang produser sekaligus penulis lirik lagunya, mengaku lagu tersebut bercerita tentang temannya yang bernama Kelsey Siemens.
