KOMPAS.com - Perhelatan Gaon Chart Music Awards ke-11 telah berlangsung di Jamsil Arena, Korea Selatan, pada Kamis (27/1/2022).
Acara kemarin dipandu oleh JaeJae, Sieun STAYC, dan Doyoung NCT.
Perhitungan untuk Gaon Chart Music Awards didasarkan pada penampilan komersial lagu dan album berdasarkan Gaon Music Chart nasional.

Artist of the Year dibagi menjadi kategori musik digital dan album fisik.
Penghargaan musik digital diberikan kepada lagu dengan jumlah unduhan dan streaming digital tertinggi setiap bulannya dari Desember 2020 hingga November 2021.
Lalu penghargaan album fisik diberikan kepada album dengan penjualan tertinggi untuk setiap kuartal selama periode yang sama.
