JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - R.E.M merupakan grup band rock asal Amerika Serikat yang melantunkan lagu “Monty Got a Raw Deal”.
Lagu yang diproduseri oleh semua anggota band bersama Scott Litt ini muncul dalam album ke-8 mereka yang diberi nama Automatic for the People.
Album tersebut dirilis pada Oktober 1992 dan berhasil mencapai peringkat ke-2 tangga lagu Billboard 200, serta sukses memenangkan NME Award untuk kategori Best Album.
