Lagu ini pertama kali dibocorkan lewat TikTok pada 9 April 2025.
Pada 16 April, Lorde resmi mengumumkannya dengan sampul karya Talia Chetrit.
Pada 22 April, ia membawakan lagu ini secara langsung di Washington Square Park, New York, di depan ratusan penggemarnya sebelum dibubarkan polisi.
